β¨ Aylesham & Snowdown– Thank You! β¨
What a fantastic Christmas Light Switch-On we had on Saturday! It may have been a soggy start, but thankfully the rain held off and the village spirit shone brightly. π
A HUGE thank you to Alan at One Call Electrical for coming to the rescue and fixing the connectors on the street lamps. We truly couldn’t have lit up the village without him — absolute hero! π‘π
We’d also like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the event so special:
π
ARCH – for arranging some very special festive visitors.
βΊ 20th Deal (Aylesham) Scout Group – for the use of the marquee and PA system, and for the wonderful children who led the carol singing so beautifully.
π Aylesham Carnival Association – for the attendance of the Carnival Court.
π―οΈ Bechange & Aylesham Arts Club – for hosting the lantern-making workshops and creating the stunning giant Angel.
βοΈHayley at Sticky Candy for staying open late to provide hot chocolates and festive treats.
β¨ And thank you to everyone who made a lantern and added that extra sparkle to our village celebration.
We were honoured to have Robert Williams and Nikki Hannigan as our special guests — and delighted that they conducted this year’s official Christmas Lights Switch-On together. ππ
Finally, a huge thank you to all of you who came along, joined in the festivities, and helped make the evening magical.
Here’s to a bright and joyful festive season in Aylesham! ππ«
