Grants

Aylesham Parish Council's Grants Scheme application period has now opened for 2026/2027

Aylesham Parish Council wishes to encourage and support a diverse range of high quality, innovative and ambitious events and projects that engage local residents and visitors alike.

Aylesham Parish Council now offers three grant programmes to support our community.

The closing dates for completed grant applications and all supporting documentation to be received are:

  • 6th April 2026
  • 6th July 2026
  • 5th October 2026
  • 4th January 2027

General Grants up to £2,000

For local organisations and community initiatives that benefit residents of the parish.

Applications are considered quarterly by council.

Before making your application, please read both the Guidance Notes and the Terms and Conditions set out in the application form, and make sure you answer all of the questions on the form as fully and accurately as possible. 

Centenary Grants – Aylesham 100  up to £1,500

For projects and events linked to Aylesham’s 100th anniversary in 2027.

Applicants must first liaise with and attend a meeting of the independent Aylesham Centenary Committee before submitting an application: [email protected]

Applications are considered quarterly by the Finance, Audit & Personnel Committee.

Aylesham Aspiration Fund  Up to £150

For young residents (aged 18-21) progressing into higher education, apprenticeships or recognised vocational training for the first time. Applications are considered by Full Council.
